- -800g chicken thighs or breast, cubed into 2-3 cm pieces
- -1 tbsp olive oil
- -1 tsp garlic powder
- -1 tsp onion powder
- -1 tsp paprika
- -1 tsp salt
- -½ tsp pepper
- -80g Samouraï Sauce + extra to baste and serve
- -Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
- 1If using wooden skewers, soak them for at least 30 minutes before.
- 2Preheat the oven to 220°C.
- 3In a bowl mix the chicken with all of the seasonings and the Samouraï sauce. Make sure that all the chicken pieces are evenly coated.
- 4Thread the seasoned chicken onto the skewers. Either place onto a wire rack on top of a baking sheet, or else place the skewers hanging over a baking sheet.
- 5Bake in the oven for about 15/20 minutes, until they start getting a nice golden color and the internal temperature reaches 75°C. Turn the skewers half way through the cooking. You can also grill the skewers on a grill pan for about 10 minutes on each side. Or bake in an air fryer for about 12-15 minutes at 200°C.
- 6Brush the skewers with more sauce and top with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
