- -500 g chestnut mushrooms
- -3 garlic cloves
- -1 tbsp olive oil
- -1 tbsp butter (optional)
- -Fresh thyme
- -Salt & Pepper
- -Pita Sauce
- 1Clean the mushrooms by rubbing them with a kitchen towel. Do not wash them with water. Cut off the bottom end of the mushroom stalk a little.
- 2Peel and chop the garlic.
- 3Heat the olive oil in a pan. When the pan is nice and hot, add the mushrooms. Fry them vigorously for 5 minutes.
- 4 Now add the garlic, fresh thyme and butter and fry everything for a further 5 minutes. Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper.
- 5Before serving, remove the thyme stalks and sprinkle with a few fresh thyme leaves. Serve the mushrooms with Pita Sauce.
