- -4 Wäinzoossiss sausages
- -230g all butter puff pastry
- -Wholegrain mustard
- -1 egg
- -A dash of milk,
- -Sesame seeds or poppy seeds, to decorate
- 1Preheat the oven to 200°C fan.
- 2Slit the sausages lengthwise and remove the skins.
- 3Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 4 long strips.
- 4Spread some wholegrain mustard on a first strip, lay the sausage meat on the pastry and roll up, sealing the pastry ends by pushing down on them with your hands. Cut into bite-sized pieces and put on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- 5In a little bowl, beat the egg with a dash of milk.
- 6Brush each sausage roll with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds.
- 7Bake the sausage rolls in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until nicely golden. Serve hot or cold.
