Steak and Asparagus Crostini

  • -1 steak
  • -½ baguette
  • -3 white asparagus
  • -Parmesan, grated
  • -4 tablespoons mayo “aux oeufs”
  • -2 tablespoons green pesto (homemade or store-bought)
  • -Salt and pepper
Steak and Asparagus Crostini

  1. 1Peel the asparagus and boil them in salted water, but not until tender, as they will be briefly roasted on the grill.
  2. 2Mix the mayo with the pesto.
  3. 3Preheat the grill to 200 degrees Celsius.
  4. 4Cut the baguette into slices, drizzle with olive oil, and grill on both sides until crispy.
  5. 5Grill the steak to the desired temperature.
  6. 6When the steak is almost done, briefly grill the asparagus.
  7. 7Slice the steak and cut each asparagus in 3.
  8. 8Place 1-2 pieces of steak on the toasted baguette, place 1 piece of asparagus on the steak, and garnish with the pesto mayo. Sprinkle with a few Parmesan flakes.
